Shingle Time

Hello there. It is so beautiful outside, so this is a quick post. Here are the latest exterior shots of our home in it's face lift phase. We are currently re-shingling the garage, and the gables and entire back side of our house with new white cedar shingles. A few months after the re-shingling is complete and they have turned a light gray color we will stain these new beauties with an oil preservative to prevent them from turning a dingy brown/gray. Only time will tell, but it is a major improvement already! Next year we would like to replace all of the front clapboard and replace all of the windows in the front (the originals).
