Back on the Blog

The past 2 1/2 weeks have been a whirlwind! We had no internet for a while so I was really missing in action and then I started looking at houses the week before last. Unexpectedly, after my first day out with our broker in Hingham I drove by an open house she suggested on the way home and - bam - I loved it! We put it under agreement on Thursday of last week and then went down to Florida to my parent's new place the next day.

We are back and I have so much to share!

The house - we get it inspected Saturday so I will post some pics after. We are so thrilled about it and hope all goes smoothly through the close on May 15th. It is located in Hingham and it is an 1820's antique cape and I LOVE IT.

This picture of Athena makes me laugh. It was taken in the car on the ride back from Hingham on the day we put our offer in for the house. She was exhausted and literally fell asleep mid sentence with her lollipop stuck to her pants. The kids have been troopers through everything and we can't wait for them to have a new house!
